Photo competition – Le Corbusier, 10 years on the UNESCO World Heritage List

From 10 June to 10 July, share your perspective on Le Corbusier’s architectural work on Instagram to mark the 10th anniversary of its inscription on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

On 17 July 2016, the 40th session of the World Heritage Committee in Istanbul announced the inscription of the transnational series The Architectural Work of Le Corbusier, an Outstanding Contribution to the Modern Movement. This inscription, supported by the Le Corbusier Foundation, Argentina, Belgium, France, Germany, India, Japan, and Switzerland, was made possible thanks to the collective work of the seven States Parties and the Association of Le Corbusier Sites. 

To mark the occasion, the Fondation Le Corbusier and the Association of Le Corbusier Sites are organising a photo competition on Instagram, inviting participants to offer a personal perspective on what makes Le Corbusier’s architectural work exceptional and universal today, through his 17 sites listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Open to both amateurs and professionals, submissions are open from 10 June to 10 July on Instagram. Details on how to participate can be found on the Fondation Le Corbusier’s Instagram account (@fondationlecorbusier) or in the competition rules.
