Radieuse – La naissance d’une utopie

A photographic exhibition by Geneviève Féraud from 27 June to 18 August 2025 at the Maison blanche, La Chaux-de-Fonds.

Geneviève Féraud’s exhibition provides an opportunity to see, understand and reflect on the beginnings of Le Corbusier’s global work, at a time when concrete development and housing estates are raising questions about their future. Is the radiant future of the housing estate a chimera or a utopia?

From the blue-white-green of the Maison blanche to the spaces punctuated by the warm, intellectualised colours of the Cité Radieuse, Le Corbusier, world traveller, dreamer of cities, builder of ideal housing units, modern with his time, has been sowing the seeds of his architectural language ever since.

This exhibition, a tribute to the work of Le Corbusier, offers a temporal reflection on the construction of a work of art.
