Lucien Hervé – L’âme d’un architecte
From 15 March to 15 July 2025, discover the new exhibition at the Villa ‘Le Lac’ in Corseaux.
Lucien Hervé (1910–2007) is the French Resistance name of the photographer of Hungarian origin László Elkán. On a single day in 1949, he exposed 650 negatives of the Cité Radieuse construction site in Marseille. Le Corbusier wrote to him: “You have the soul of an architect, and you know how to see architecture…” The Villa ‘Le Lac’ Le Corbusier reopened its doors on 15 March with an exhibition contributing to and perpetuating the memory of the beautiful collaboration between the two artists.
Exhibition presented in French, English and Hungarian.
