
The Chapelle Notre-Dame du Haut celebrates its 70th anniversary
From 17 to 19 October 2025 – A weekend to (re)discover this masterpiece by Le Corbusier.

Inaugurated in 1955, the Notre-Dame du Haut Chapel in Ronchamp has become an icon of modern architecture, permanently transforming 20th-century religious architecture.
To mark its 70th anniversary, a rich programme of events, shows and exhibitions is being offered at the chapel and throughout the municipality of Ronchamp.
Activities programme at the Chapel
- Documentary projection ‘The Power of Utopia: Living with Le Corbusier in Chandigarh’, Friday 17 October at 6pm-8pm
- Philomène show – bird singers & Pierre Hamon, flutist, Saturday 18 October at 8pm
- Concert by David Demange and Serge Kakudji, Sunday 19 October at 6pm
- Exhibitions ‘La Chapelle Le Corbusier, 70 Years of Emotions’, on display all weekend on site
- Free admission for people born in 1955 and young people under 18
Activities organised by the municipality and its partners during National Architecture Days
- Tour of the Mine Museum construction site – Friday 17 October at 10am and 2pm
- Exhibition in the Filature Gallery – Friday 17 and Saturday 18 from 10am to 12pm and from 2pm to 4:30pm
- Tours of the Filature and Micro-folie – Saturday 18 October at 10am and 2pm
- Tours of the wooden school – Saturday 18 October at 10am and 2pm
- Tours of the Sainte-Marie Shaft – Sunday 19 October at 10am and 11.30am
Event organised by La Porterie, in collaboration with the owner Association Œuvre Notre-Dame du Haut (AONDH), the municipality of Ronchamp, the Department of Haute-Saône and Les Eurockéennes de Belfort.
