Communication kit for the Destinations Le Corbusier : architectural promenades Cultural Route

Poster, flyers, video, logo, postcards, travelling exhibition… The Council of Europe’s cultural route dedicated to the work of Le Corbusier can now be promoted using a wide range of materials.

The Cultural Route Destinations le Corbusier : architectural promenades

Certified since 2019 and coordinated by the Association of Le Corbusier Sites, this route aims to structure and encourage cultural and tourist exchanges between European and non-European Corbusian sites. The aim? To enable the general public to discover and understand the architectural work of Le Corbusier, its history and the values it embodies, by experiencing the sites and architectural ensembles in the network.

Le Corbusier himself once said « An architecture must be walked through and traversed… ».

New communication tools

To enable the sites represented on the route to communicate about the network that unites them, a number of communication tools have been produced. A digital communication kit containing all these elements (poster, video, flyers, logo, etc.) can be used by the members of the network. The travelling exhibition Destinations Le Corbusier: architectural promenades, produced by the town of Pessac for the ASLC, can also be made available. If you would like to receive the route communication kit or more information about these tools, please send your request to .

What are the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe ?

The Council of Europe’s Cultural Routes are an invitation to travel and discover Europe’s rich and diverse heritage, bringing people together in places of history and heritage. They embody the values of the Council of Europe: human rights, cultural diversity, intercultural dialogue and mutual cross-border exchange. The Cultural Routes programme was launched by the Council of Europe in 1987 and now includes 48 routes across Europe, such as Santiago de Compostela Pilgrim Routes, the Impressionisms Routes, the European Route of Historic Gardens, etc. More information.

The documents have been produced by the Association of Le Corbusier Sites, which manages the cultural route Destinations Le Corbusier: architectural promenades, thanks to an exceptional grant from the French Ministry of Culture’s Direction Générale des Patrimoines et de l’Architecture, the support of the Fondation Le Corbusier and the involvement of the association’s members.
